Min better 2000 and difference between mastering and highest I don't notice.
On 1 DVD with VRB2 9000/7000/2000 fit ~85-90 min video.

I don't use Bitrate Calculator. Try to compressed one little file ant calculate, how big is file and average bitrate was. Then you can to bigger files use.

You could earler think and calculate Cool Try with recommended "DVD Shrink" or on DVD+R9 (named DVD+R DL; ~8.5 GB) fit Wink
And why you need so high bitrate ? You can use VBR bitrate (AVR ~7000-80 ...

Have you tried using CBR mode? Does it still crash?

Now I try to encode 5 min video, and after CBR and VBR encoding the program automaticly close Sad With CRB it still crash...
