Update: Pegasys finally responded to my e-mail, and they can inform me that they are aware of the problem, and like RMN says, it is related to the Directshow reader.

Ah, it's always a good idea to play around a bit before posting - I just discovered that ReelDVD has an audio offset feature. It wasn't very well hidden either Wink

Thanks for the advice, both of you.
Since I only have about 68 minutes of video and an entire DVD-5 disc to fit it on, I think I'll go with 384 Kb/s. The video will look excellent either way...
