I haven't tried this new software yet, but according to the information listed it allows DVDs with Linear PCM tracks of true 96kHz 24bit. If I recall, this is a legitimate standard for DVDs, right? I believe so, although I may be thinking of DVD-As. And, if true, will you be adding this selection to your Calculator, which is use a TON?
Since I typed that post all two hours ago, I have tried the trial version of the program. It's a VERY nice upgrade from Author 1.6, and am very pleased with it so far. I haven't done any full-out funky menus or transcoding (a process similar to the former DVD Shrink). But I do like the built-in inclusion of AC3 conversion. AND error messages that make sense! AND you can set it to burn the output to a DVD automatically following the DVD output. Thumbs up so far.
