This is the guide that I have been using for the last couple of months but I havent got a single working DVD.
I reencoded the video with Tmpg and the video stream plays just fine. Problems occur after remuxxing the video and sound in Ifoedit. I played each Vob with Ifoedit and WinDVD with different results. But basically both had really choppey or jerky video. Also, the video started off in the wrong chapter instead of the intro. Finally, selecting chapters thru the menu lead to the wrong parts of the movie.
Is anyone willing to walk me thru this dvd backing up process because I tried so many different procedures without a working result. If possible, I would like someone to walk me thru from the beginning to make sure that I didnt do something wrong.
Many THanks |

This site is mostly dedicated to encoding original material and authoring your own DVDs, not ripping or "backing up" commercial DVDs.
