Hi, I'm attempting to add two (short - 2 minute) uncompressed (1536kbps 16bit 48kHz stereo PCM) .WAV files for seperate "language tracks" (one will be dialog, the other will be dialog + soundtrack) however, when I attempt to build the dvd disc I recieve an error from Sonic DVD Producer:

Could not complete the last command because: The data rate of this file is too high for DVD. YOu must replace the file with one of a lower data rate. (DVDErr, -20404)PGC Info: name = Movie 1, ref = Apgc, time = 141.958

These uncompressed .WAV's work fine with only one track in the timeline, but not with two. Is there a max allowable bitrate for audio in a multiple stream setting? Or is it yet another problem with f-ing Sonic software?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

The full audio + video bitrate (including all the audio channels) cannot exceed 9.8 Mb/s. This means that, if you're trying to use two uncompressed sound streams (2 x 1536 = 3072), the video bitrate cannot exceed 6.7 Mb/s (6.4 to be on the safe side).

You don't mention what bitrate your video file is, but I suspect it's more than that.
