I tired to encode avi film to MPEg 2 format. I followed instructions, but i could only made the video file without any audio line, si now i can watch film without voice... When i tried the same with the DIvX film - it automatically paste the video and audio lines to encoding. But the problem here was that the picture wasn't clear and sharp so you can watch it normally. I don't know what is the problem and waht i do wrong. How can i get a video with audio line? or how to encode Divx video to mpeg with clear picture?

DivX is a bad source format. Some guides a about converting DivX to MPEG-2 can be found here:
