Hi,
I want to put subtitels on a DVD that I made some time ago. I no longer have the AVI file nor the MPEG files. So my question is, is it possible to use the VOB files on the DVD, convert them into MPEG and re-use them in Maestro? I tried #1 Video Converter, but it gives me bad quality.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks,

I've never used "#1 Video Converter" (in fact, I had never even heard about it), but most DVD ripping utilities have an option to extract the MPEG file exactly as it is, without any recompression. If that software doesn't have that option, try other programs (such as VOBEdit, etc.). There's a big list here.
After extracting it, simply import it into DVD Maestro, and add the subtitles.
