Hi all,

I just used tmpgenc to encode a 13 GB AVI file, and it generated a M2V file that was 42:35 in length (as shown by Windows Media Player). It also generated a WAV file that was 56:47 in length...

Does anyone know why this occurred? Does anyone know how to play both in sync so that I can see where the extra time came from? I'm wondering if it is just a mis-estimate by Windows media player, or whether I'm losing audio sync throughout. I spot checked the audio, and I can't find 14 minutes of silence or anything, so I am at a loss...

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Load the files into a DVD authoring program or into a video editing program. Media Player sometimes reports incorrect sizes.
