Hello, im a newbie to this forum and dvd making! Very Happy
I was using virtual dub to rip a wav file from an avi file. and i got this error:
Exclamation
"Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DX50' (unknown)

VirtualDub requires a Video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress. Video DirectShow codecs, such as those used by windows media player, are not sutiable"

Is there a way to get around that so i can get the wav file from my avi file? If so, what is it, and If not, what other programs could i used to get a wav file from an avi file.
