Cool

Hi,

In order to get the best quality possible, should I Frameserve my timeline
straight to TMPGenc for MPG2 encoding or should I first render my Timeline as an AVI ??

If I render my timeline, should I use the same codec used to capture
the video ???

Thanks
Scott

Frameserving does not recompress the frames, so it will always preserve all the original quality (it may convert from YUV to RGB, but that would happen in TMPGEnc anyway). Exporting to AVI may or may not cause a recompression, depending on the codec. So in general, it's best to use a frameserver.
