Hi,

Ulead DVD workshop will no longer play m2v files on my computer. It displays a lot green and pink and the video is terribly distorted. However if I cover the video with the window of an external application (like MS word) and then uncover it, the image is fine for about 1 second.

The actual m2v files are not the problem they work in all other applications.
In addition, if I actually author a DVD it works perfectly. (It’s only the display that’s giving me a problem)

Please help
Thanks

That seems to be a problem with the video overlay. Try re-installing DirectX and / or your graphics card's driver. Also, look for settings related to "video overlay" in DVD Workshop, and try selecting different modes.

If you have enabled multi-monitor support, try disabling it. Some drivers can't show overlays properly if they have more than one display active.
