Hi.
When I was burning a DVD, my software asked me if I wanted to do an ISO. I said sure.
But what is an ISO and can I use it to burn a DVD without having to wait for my DVDWS2 software to go through all that "encoding audio... multiplexing..."?
Thanks, D |

ISO stands for International Standards Organisation. In this specific case, it means an "ISO-compliant DVD image". In other words, an ISO is a disc image file, normally used for duplication or transfer over other media (ex., most industrial duplicators expect to receive the "master" as an ISO image file recorded on a DLT magnetic tape).
