Hello, i got a new computer this week and after i installed TMGenc i can't open .avi files anymore.
The version im using is 2.5 Plus (2.59.47.155)

Different AVIs are compressed with different codecs. To open a file compressed with a certain codec (ex., DivX), you need to have that codec installed. Use G-Spot or a similar utility to determine which doecs that AVI file uses, and then look for it on the net.

There are some "codec packs" (ex., the "k-lite codec pack") that include the most common codecs, as well as a couple of useful file information tools.
