I know the TMPGEnc developers probably won't see this, but I thought I'd share this idea with you anyway.

As it takes several hours to render an hour long avi to highest quality mpg, why don't they have a 'pause and resume' feature like internet download managers do? So often you want to use the computer for something else for a while or switch it off if you need to go out. You should be able to pick up the rendering where it left off.
