Hi,
I am a newgi in encoding. I use Adobe Premiere 6.02 and Pinnacle DV500 Plus. I was using Avisynth 0.3 to serve frames to TMPGEnc 2.5. When I actually wanted to start to serve the frames, there always came a message saying "Can't load 'P3Package.dll'". I thought, it is because I made something wrong. Later I deleted all that I had installed to do that. But I realized that my device controll for recording with Pinnacle DV500 was no more available. So I deleted all Pinnacle drivers and installed them anew. No result. I deinstalled all Pinnacle software parts and installed the update 4.5. But since then I have no Pinnacle Systems DV500 E4 driver available anymore. I tried to install it anew. No result. In device manager it says, it "can not be started. (Error code 10)" But at least I could get the recording function going again. So I recorded an avi-file from a DVCAM tape for encoding it as it was recorded. Just when I have all the settings done and want to get going, the same message appears again. "Can't load 'P3Package.dll'".

Can you help me? What does that mean? What to do?
Laughing
Thank you very much,

Alban

Re-install TMPGEnc. For some reason your P3Package.dll file (in TMPGEnc's directory) is corrupted or not properly installed. Make sure you remove the old version of TMPGEnc before re-installing. I suspect that problem may be caused by installing a new version of TMPGEnc over an old one.
