Hello:
I am trying to export my project from Premier 6.0 and Matrox RT 2000 as a Microsoft .avi and I am not sure what bit rate is suitable as I will be making a DVD from the saved .avi file. I see that I have options of between 5 and 25 mps. The video is only 15 minutes long. In previous projects I have had the bit rate set at 8 mps but I noticed that I have the option to increase it. Would it be a bad idea to increase the bit rate. It appears that increasing the bit rate would give a better quality picture.
I have been blundering along with this system for six years now and still don't understand many things about it all.

Thanks, Bob Grant - London, Canada
